USD #298 Lincoln Board of Education announced that they have voted unanimously to hire Mrs. Nikki Flinn for the Superintendent position for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years at a Special Board Meeting held Wednesday, December 27, 2023. Hiring a Superintendent is one of the most important jobs placed upon the Board of Education.
John Buttenhoff, President, stated, “the board likes the direction and the continuity that has been displayed in the past few years and would like to continue with 298 on a great path to success. We feel Nikki is the right person to continue what has been started and to keep pushing Lincoln to be a great district to live in and work in.”
Mrs. Flinn, a graduate of Lincoln Jr/Sr High School Class of 2002, will begin leadership effective July 1, 2024. She resigned her current position as LJSHS and LES Principal effective the end of this contract year. The Board of Education is thankful that Mrs. Flinn wants to continue her career as a Lincoln Leopard!
