Thank you to the local business employees for taking the time to participate in mock job interviews with Mrs. White's senior ELA students. What a great learning experience for our seniors before they graduate! Bree McReynolds-Baetz and Kimberly Meyer, Citizens State Bank and Trust; Tami Kerth and Felecia Strahm, Lincoln County; Mitch Obermueller, Bank of Tescott; and Jyll Phillips, Lincoln Sentinel.

C. Helus and T. Spear participated in the JH PTL Music Solos Wednesday at Pike Valley. Chloe received a II(two, excellent) rating for her baritone solo, and Teryn received a II for her Alto Saxophone solo. I'm proud of both of them for the work they put in to prepare their pieces and how well they represented Lincoln.

Volunteer Spotlight – Lincoln PTCO. Where do we begin? This newly organized group is all about supporting our school, not just financially but also with time, skills and resources. Projects this year have benefited our athletes, music, art, Summer Weights, and teachers, just to name a few. If you haven’t joined this organization, please consider it. Our district relies on people to volunteer in our schools, communities and cities to show that stepping up truly makes a difference! USD 298 genuinely appreciates our volunteers!

Movin' on up to the Junior High!! 5th Grade shadow the junior high kids to get ready for their transition to LJH.

The Senior Government class traveled to Topeka today and visited the Governors residence, the Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site, and the Kansas State Capitol.

Parents, grandparents and community volunteers all bring valuable assets to the classroom. Today’s Volunteer Spotlight is on Carl Scott and Rita Vonada. We appreciate how generously they give time to be there for the kids, showing them that they matter! Thank you for your commitment to students at Lincoln Elementary School.
