Today is an exciting day at LES. Students were able to jump in bounce houses as a reward for meeting reading goals. Thank you to the Leopard Pride organization for their generous support of our students reaching their goals.

Today is School Lunch Hero Day – a day to celebrate our food service staff who make our cafeterias and school a better place to be! Reminder : All 5th grade library books are due tomorrow, May 5th.
Last Friday, the 5th graders got to spend part of their day visiting Lincoln Junior High School. This is something we do each year to help the 5th grade learn about 6th grade and the Junior High experience to help with their transition next school year. The 5th graders were able to tour the building, ask questions, observe some 6th grade classes, hear from teachers/staff, talk to current 6th graders about concerns, eat lunch, and practice opening locks and lockers. It was a great day!

It's time again for the monthly LES spotlight that recognizes teachers and staff members for the amazing work they do! The ones that were recognized for the month of April are Mrs. Naasz, Mrs. Habiger, Mrs. Holliday, Mrs. Breneman, Miss Hillegeist and Ms. Jewell. They are recognized on a bulletin board in the main hallway at LES for all students, staff, and visitors to see, and through Facebook and our USD 298 website. Please read about these awesome LES staff members and give us a hand in recognizing the great work they do for our school! Post 1 of 2
