Lincoln High School welding students completed the picnic table for the Carolyn Farris memorial. We were approached early in the school year about this project and after some discussion, several of the seniors were more than happy to put their skills to use for such a worthy cause. The finishing touch to this table was to utilize our new PlasmaCam system, which was purchased with the America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education grant, to cut out the Old English L for the table top. These seniors did a fantastic job with their metal fabrication, welding and programming skills while serving their community in an admirable fashion. Job well done!
