LES and LJSHS will participate in the statewide emergency management tornado drill for Severe Weather Awareness Week today at 10 am. Tornado drills are held on a regular basis to ensure that our students and staff know and understand procedures in case of a tornado.

Lincoln Elementary students will be running the mile on Thursday dependent on the weather.
Times the classes will run are:
1st grade: 9:00
2nd grade: 10:00
3rd grade: As soon as 2nd grade returns, hopefully 10:30ish
4th grade: 11:55
5th and 6th grade: 12:25

The high school Forensics meet scheduled for Saturday, February 29 at Minneapolis has been cancelled due to illness at their school. It will not be re-scheduled. Stay healthy!

Lincoln Elementary School along with the Mitchell County Partnership for Children will be hosting a Kindermusik evening for all children Kindergarten age and below (if parents have older children they are welcome to join) on March 5 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Kindermusik is a national program that uses music and creativity along with parental involvement to increase child learning. After the program a free taco meal is provided to all, and each family will receive a gift. All children and their families are welcome not just local Lincoln families.
