
At the meeting last night, Board of Education members approved changing Parent/Teacher conferences from Tuesday, October 22, to Thursday, October 24, 2019. Monday, October 21, schedule remains the same. Start time both days is 4 pm. LES will send out conference schedules soon.

Ben Bell was the guest reader for a library class today at Lincoln Elementary School. He exceeded his reading goals in Mrs. Luck's fifth grade classroom and had the privilege of reading a Halloween story to Mrs. Heller's first graders. Congratulations!

Lincoln Elementary Parents: Smile! Picture Day is this Wednesday, October 9th. 4th grade students will take pictures first and then proceed to their field trip. They will have time to change if needed.

Parents/Guardians: Fire Prevention Week is an excellent time to check smoke detectors and review your fire safety plan with your family.

The Homecoming Parade is ON - 2:15 is the start time!

Mud routes will be run today after school. Also the Homecoming Pep Rally at Lincoln Elementary will be held regardless of the weather.

In anticipating a break in the weather later, the Homecoming parade will be starting at 2:15 p.m. There is a strong possibility that the Pep Rally at Lincoln Elementary will be cancelled due to time restraints. Watch facebook for further updates.

The decision about the parade will be made by noon. Stay tuned!
Pep-rally will be at 2:30 rain or shine.

LES 2nd grade to Sunny Side Pumpkin Patch has been rescheduled to next Thursday, October 10.

Making math fun? Mrs. Wolting's class plays Chutes and Ladders only to solve fraction problems to stay in the space they move. Yes, math is fun!



Mr. Lee’s 7th grade astronomy class got the excited experience of launching model rockets that they built and tested today after seeing a great presentation of Dr. Goddard’s Lab from the Cosmosphere yesterday!


Almost finished! The picnic table built by our production welding students, Kohl, Jerry, and Jordan, will be placed at Mettner Field paid for by the Luck Memorial. Still needs a paint job and then it will be installed! Great work from a group of very talented students!

LES parents, reminder with the cooler temperatures to dress students accordingly. The homecoming parade is tomorrow and students will be dismissed in their classes to attend, they will be walking they need to be dressed appropriately for the weather.
