The final steps in the track renovation took place a couple weeks ago with two additional long jump/triple jump pits, slabs for the high jump mats, and a javelin runway. Thank you to Stanley Walker, Jerry Wollesen and Donnie White for getting precise measurements and laying out all the throwing areas. Thank you to Dale Hlad and the Lincoln County Highway Department for removing the last of the old asphalt runways. Thank you to Solid Rock Construction for the concrete work. And thank you to Post Rock Community Foundation and private donors who continue to make this renovated facility a reality. We live in one of the best communities who continue to support our school district and the kids of USD 298!
