Little Leopard Learners Childcare Opening!

The focus of National FFA Week is to tell America about the great opportunities available for youth in agriculture. Our local chapter at Lincoln Jr/Sr High School will be participating with these special activities.

2024 HS Basketball Sub-State seeding will be on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Quarterfinal games for 2A girls will be February 26; 2A Boys - February 27 at sites to be determined. Semifinals and finals will be played at Alma-Wabaunsee HS - 2A girls on February 29; 2A boys on March 1 with finals on March 2. Information will be updated when available.

Lincoln Leopards host the St. John's - Tipton Blujays for Sr. Night on Tuesday, February 20. JV girls begin the games at 4 pm. Senior basketball and senior cheerleaders will be recognized between the varsity games. Good luck to all our athletes!

Just a reminder that school is dismissed today, Wednesday, February 14, at noon. Lunch will be served and buses run at that time. Monday, February 19, there is no school for teacher in-service.

The high school boys junior varsity basketball team competed in a JV tournament today in Washington. The Leopards won 48-31 over Washington County and 58-6 versus Republic County! The Leopards are 8-1 on the season.

Lincoln travels to Tescott Monday, February 12 for a make-up game. Games start at 6 pm. No JV games will be played.

Little leopard cheerleaders should arrive at LJSHS by 6:00 for the performance tomorrow. Each girl will be given her shirt at school. Please wear black shorts or leggings and tennis shoes.

Congratulations to Gavin L. for winning the Lincoln County Spelling Bee. Also congratulations to Juliette G. for placing 2nd! Great job representing our leopards! Gavin will go on and compete at the state spelling bee.

Friday's home basketball vs Rock Hills now starts at 4:45 pm with JV Boys and a rolling schedule. Little Cheer performs at half-time of the Varsity Boys game.

The Lincoln County Spelling Bee will be open to the public on Thursday, February 8th at the Lincoln Elementary gymnasium at 9 a.m.

On Thursday, February 8th, support the high school boys Leopard basketball team by ordering from Gambino’s Pizza in Salina! The team will receive proceeds from ALL orders (delivery, dine-in, carry-out) from 4:00-8:30 PM!
