Many thanks to USD 298 Board Members, Jason Coover and Dale Romesburg, along with district employee, Roger Wolf, for the extra hands and labor today. Watch for new equipment going up at the Preschool playground. Many thanks to Mrs. Flinn for her diligence in securing grants for the playground! Safety posts were also installed around the new light pole in the North parking lot. It’s another great day to be a Leopard!

With the money KAY Club raised from Pie the Principal, they were able to assemble 120 Happy Kits for Children's Mercy! A Happy Kit contains a coloring book, a book to read, crayons, stickers, and a toy. These are handed out to Children's Mercy clinic patients when they are there for appointments. The hope is that these kits help ease the fear of being at a big hospital and keeps little patients occupied while waiting and during doctor appointments. KAY Club is thrilled to be able to touch 120 different little lives through this project! ❤️

The Lincoln High School will be performing the Murder Mystery Comedy, "And Then There Was One" By Michael Druce. This spoof of the famous stage mystery "and Then There Was None" by Agatha Christi is all comedy, filled with hilarious sight gags and dialogue. Ten people are brought together by mysterious invitation to the Reef Mansion on a tiny, isolated island. Not one of them knows the host, who is nowhere to be found. Still, he has left an ominous recording that bodes evil for the guests. Like the chocolate statues that inexplicably disappear from the mantel one by one, the guests begin to die one by one. With a farcical twist ending this play doesn’t miss any opportunity for lively comedy and humor. The performance will be in the commons area of Lincoln Jr/Sr High School. Play times are Saturday the 11th at 7 p.m. and Sunday, the 12th, at 3 p.m. Trigger Warnings: This play features screaming and fake, but loud, gunshots, which may not be appropriate for young children.
