Mrs. Zamecnik's 4th Grade students were the first users of the LES Activfloor. Activfloor is a mobile device that projects customizable educational content onto any flooring service. Students of all ages and abilities can learn and have fun while moving their bodies. This technology was funded by a generous grant from the Post Rock Community Foundation, thank you to the Foundation for their continued support of LES and USD 298.

Attn LES Parents/Guardians: Due to forecasted cold and wintry conditions for today, the Easter Egg Hunt will move into the LES gym today. K-2nd students will hunt in the gym at 1:15, 3rd-5th grade around 1:50. Parents and patrons are welcomed to attend but need to sit in the gym balcony. Doors will unlock at 1:05. The Lincoln Forensics’ team traveled to Wilson this afternoon for a last chance to qualify for state! Senior Kaylee Babcock placed 1st in Prose and Soohomore Carisa McBride placed first in Poetry! Senior Phebe Lyne took 5th in Informative and Sophomore Maryn Schmidt medaled 4th in Humorous Solo! This was a such a fantastic group of kids!

Attn LES Parents/Guardians: The KAY Club Easter Egg Hunt that was cancelled due to high winds today, has been rescheduled for tomorrow, April 13 at 1:15 at the Lincoln City Park. Parents and patrons are invited to watch the fun. Kindergarten-Fifth grade students will hunt at the same time. Preschool students will hunt at the school grounds on an alternative day. All students will ride the bus to and from the site. Thank you for your flexibility. Happy Easter,

Due to the high wind warnings, out of an abundance of caution for our littlest leopards, the KAY Club and Citizen's State Bank have decided to postpone the LES Easter Egg Hunt to next week. More details to come on the day later.

If you have a child who will be 3 or 4 years of age by August 31, 2022, and are interested in them attending preschool next school year, please attend the Preschool Information Night on May 3, 2022, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. More information is available here: https://5il.co/18n93

Attn LES Parents and Guardians: Reminder that the Easter Egg Hunt for Prek-5th students will be held tomorrow at Lincoln City Park. Morning Preschool and K-2nd students will hunt at 9:00 a.m. and Afternoon Preschool and 3rd-5th grade students will hunt at 1 p.m. Please dress your student appropriately for the weather, and older tennis shoes work better if it is muddy. All students will be transported via bus to and from school. Students do need to bring their own Easter baskets or sacks. Parents and community patrons are invited to watch the hunt. Happy Easter!
