Post 2 of 2- These LES students were nominated for Leopard Leaders this week! When a student is nominated for a Leopard Leader by a staff member their picture (shown below) is displayed on the TV in our hallway for one week, they get to take a Leopard Leader paper home, and they get to ring our big hand bell on Friday when they come to Character Education class. Check out how these students showed great character!

Parents of USD 298 students - thank you for your continued support of our students, staff, and school community. At enrollment, you were asked to complete the Household Economic Survey (HES) and many of you did and we thank you. This form replaces what used to be the Free and Reduced Lunch Application. Even though school meals are free this school year, it is important that we continue to secure funding sources for our school. The dollars generated through these resources fund salaries for teachers and staff and also helps us purchase classroom supplies. If you were not able to complete the survey or have not returned it to your child’s school, or if your household income has changed from this summer, please take a minute to complete the attached form. It is also available at each school building or the school board office. https://5il.co/vth1

Fridays are a day to give thanks. Lincoln Elementary School would like to express their appreciation on Fridays for the continued support of our local businesses and organizations. Today,  we would like to say thank you to Dil and Bilma Darjee owners of the Post Rock Motel. The Darjees are strong supporters of education and have given funds for student supplies and materials. They also generously donated warm winter coats for our youngest students. If you see them in the community, please tell them thank you for their generous support of our students.
