Two JV baseball games have been added to the schedule. April 19 - Bennington @ Lincoln and May 7 - Lincoln @ Bennington. Both games will consist of a single 7-inning game starting at 4:00pm.

Monday April 12 is the 6th-12th grade Band Concert at 7 pm at LJSHS. Students please arrive by 6:30 pm and dress nicely. 4 spectators will be allowed per student. We also please ask that spectators leave after their child performs to keep the number of spectators low. Thank you!

As a part of the Amazon Engineer Program, the LJSHS IT class participated in the Amazon Engineer chat via Google Meet with Lily Wong, Amazon Solutions Engineer. She presented about her journey to her career. She offered advice to students about the importance of following the trend of technology and being a part of it.

The LHS Stuco Egg My Yard was a success! Thank you to the following people for donating eggs John and Bree Baetz, Mity Mart, Bank of Tescott, Citizens State Bank, Viv’s Liquor, Walkers Products, Lincoln Grocery, and MarCon Pies, and LHS KAY Club. Also thanks to Board Member Bree Baetz and her daughter Sloan, Angel Vath and Jaycee Vath and all the Stuco Members who helped hide eggs on Friday and Saturday night. All proceeds will go towards the bathroom remodel at LHS this summer.

Congratulations to Alex B! She was awarded the local Masonic Lodge essay contest $250 scholarship. The subject of her essay was "Masonic values include: promoting morality, lifting up the oppressed, respecting the laws of government and extending charity. How can you exhibit one or more of these traits in your school or community and how will this prepare you for your future?"


Mr. Crist was selected as the National Federation of High School Coaches Association as the 2018-2019 Midwest Section Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year. Mr. Crist was specifically nominated as the most deserving recipient for this honor amongst coaches of the sport in Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Honorees were judged upon their performance in the 2018-19 school year, lifetime community involvement, school involvement and philosophy of coaching.
