When life gives you lemons you make lemonade, today USD 298 5th and 6th graders departed for a field trip at the Airshow that had to be cancelled due to lighting and rain. Instead of coming home, the students were able to enjoy the Kansas Wetlands Education Center at Cheyenne Bottoms for activities and were able to meet a published author.

Post 2 of 2- These LES students were nominated for Leopard Leaders this week! When a student is nominated for a Leopard Leader by a staff member their picture (shown below) is displayed on the TV in our hallway for one week, they get to take a Leopard Leader paper home, and they get to ring our big hand bell on Friday when they come to Character Education class. Check out how these students showed great character!

Whether it is student programming, volunteer opportunities, or the Teacher Giving Tree, the friendly employees at Citizens State Bank go the extra mile to assist students and staff members.
