The following students placed in the KSPA State Journalism competition.
Because of Covid-19, the contest was completely different this year with students competing from home and submitting their entry digitally a few weeks ago.
But unlike all the other spring competitions that were cancelled, journalism students were still given the option to compete. A few LJSHS students chose to compete.
Here are the LJSHS students who placed:

C. Walter - 5th place in Feature Writing
E. Garay - 5th place in News Writing
G. Fenn - 3rd place in Infographics
M. Squires - 5th place in Academic Photography
