Hi everyone, Mrs. Ptacek here! One thing that I've really been working on is getting a website set up for the Lincoln Elementary School Counseling Program. I'm excited to say that the website is now officially up and running! I made a short little video walkthrough on how to get to the website through our USD 298 website (www.usd298.com), where it will always be available, but I will put the direct link for the LES counseling website here as well. This website has all the information about our LES school counseling program, various resources for parents/home, resources/information regarding Covid-19 and virtual school counseling, AND my contact information. I especially recommend checking out the contact tab on the site if you have any questions or concerns for me at this time- I'm happy to help! My goal is to update this site as frequently as I can in order to provide relevant information and resources not only about the LES counseling program, but also about events happening in the world that can have a direct impact on school counseling. Link to tutorial showing how to get to the "Counselor's Corner" on the website. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H-SZXupLz35_ffYi0-s26IuYlALm9NQU/view Here is the direct link to the website: https://sites.google.com/usd298.com/lescounselorscorner

Dear USD 298 Parent/Guardian: Today Gov. Kelly issued Executive Order No. 20-16 establishing "stay home" order through April 19. On page 6, section 9b, this order clarifies that current K-12 school operations do not require further changes. Our District plans are approved by the LCHD. Consequently, the pick of student materials on Monday will be able to proceed as planned; and, meal delivery will be distributed as called in on Monday morning. THANKS for your help and support at this difficult time. Dr. Summers
