Here is information from USD 298 Board of Education President, TJ Jonsson, and Superintendent, Dr. Betty Summers in response to Governor Kelly's announcement today. Thank you for your understanding as we move forward.

All district facilities are closed through next Sunday at the request of KSDE Commissioner, Dr Randy Watson and the KS Dept. of Health and Environment. This means no access for students, no practices, and no community access until after next Sunday. Thank you.

Message from KSHSAA to all spring student athletes and their coaches:
"Effective Monday, March 16, all spring sports and activities are suspended through Sunday, March 22. This includes cancellation of all practices and competitions for this week. This prohibition is consistent with KSDE and governmental guidance and may be extended, should conditions warrant. Please note spring sports team members are prohibited from club or outside team participation and practice during this period. Not only would such outside participation be contrary to handbook rule, it would be contrary to the very reason activities are cancelled during the time we seek to mitigate potential transfer of the contagion."

A reminder to those with Community card access, even though we will not have school March 13-March 20 for spring break, the access times will remain the same (7-10pm M-F and 7am-10pm Sat-Sun). Thank you!

USD 298 Lincoln is being proactive in keeping our students and school community healthy.
