LES parents and guardians, strains of Influenza have been diagnosed in both children and adults at school. A reminder if you or your child displays any of the following symptoms please seek medical attention in order to limit exposure to others. Symptoms of Influenza include sudden high fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, body aches or fatigue. Mrs. Ptacek works tirelessly everyday to provide for the social-emotional and academic needs of students. She is standing in front of the Families board, a project she created this year at LES. Congrats to the winner of the Lincoln County Spelling Bee LES 5th grader Gabriella Esterl who won in the 6th round by correctly spelling proximo, Gabriella will go on to represent Lincoln County at the Sunflower Spelling Bee in March, congrats to Lucas-Sylvan 5th grader Saydie Goss who fought hard for second place. LJSHS's Carissa McBride received third place. Great job to all of the spellers for their hard work and dedication.
