LES Parents and Guardians: In celebration of the Chiefs earning a trip to the Super Bowl, LES students and staff will have a dress up day on Friday, January 28. In honor of Patrick Mahomes students can wear a headband or put their hair in a mohawk, or they can wear cheetah print for the fastest "Cheetah" Tyreek Hill or just their favorite Chiefs apparel. Mrs. Schmidt promises not to wear any New England Patriot gear. Go Chiefs!

On Monday, January 27, 2020, emergency personnel were called to Lincoln Elementary School for a student needing medical assistance. Thank you to Emergency Medical Technicians and LES staff for their help and professionalism with this matter.

This month in their Leopard Families, LES students came up with goals for 2020 and mapped them out on goal balloons. The balloons are displayed in or near each Family’s meeting space so students can see and be reminded of them throughout the year. Ask your student about their balloon and goals for 2020!

Lincoln HS basketball travels to Natoma on January 31. No JV girls game. JV boys play 2 quarters starting at 5 pm.

The Geography-Bee scheduled for today, Wednesday January 22nd, is still on starting at 1:30 p.m. It will take place in the LJSHS commons. Several 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who qualified will compete today. All patrons are welcome to watch the Geo-Bee competition.

Lincoln U S D 2 9 8 schools will have 2 hour delayed start today, Wednesday, January 2 2. No breakfast will be served and there will be no A. M. Preschool. Thanks for helping to make sure staff and students have safe travels to scchool today. This is the end of the recording.
