This is a message from Dr. Betty Summers, U S D 2 9 8 Superintendent. Tomorrow, Monday, December 16, U S D 2 9 8 will have a two hour delay for the start of school. No Breakfast will be served. A M Preschool class will not be held and buses will run a delayed schedule. This two hour delay will allow for safe travel for students and staff to arrive a school for the regular day of school learning and activities. Thank you for supporting Lincoln students. Start time 6:00 p.m. – 2 gyms, varsity girls 6:00 p.m./b-boys 6:00 p.m. No JV girls game - JV boys will play two 8 minute quarters.

The JH basketball game at home vs. Paradise will start at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 19. There will be a rolling schedule starting with 2 quarters of JV girls. NO JV boys. Then Varsity girls (approx. start time of 5 p.m.) followed by Varsity JH boys.
Lincoln HS basketball hosts Pike Valley in round two of the Thunderbird Classic on Friday, December 13. JV girls will play two quarters starting at 5 p.m. JV boys follow with two quarters, then Varsity girls followed by Varsity boys.

Attn: Lincoln elementary students will be running the mile today if anyone would like to come cheer them on. Sorry for the short notice. During the winter we try to do it on the best day possible so sometimes it is on short notice.
Times the classes will run are:
1st grade: 9:00
2nd grade: 10:00
3rd grade: As soon as 2nd grade returns, hopefully 10:30ish
4th grade: 11:55
5th and 6th grade: 12:25

LES parents and guardians: In the course of installing windows today a spark started a small fire near one of the windows. The fire was quickly put out and no damage reported. Students and staff were in no danger and moved to a new location temporarily in the school. Any questions please feel free to call Mrs. Schmidt at the office.
