5th graders attended Starbase to get hands on learning about chemistry, robotics, and rockets.
For the last two weeks Carpentry students have been learning all about concrete. During which they learned about forming methods, mixing concrete and pouring a slab. During which they were able to pour a mini slab of concrete.
Forensics had a very successful day at Bennington! After 3 basketball games and two forensics meets this week, these 5 students showed up on a Saturday at 6:30 am to nail their best yet!!! Clay B-Prose 1st Place, State Qualifier; Tennyson D and Emily R-Duet 2nd Place; State Qualifier; Aprilia S-Prose 7th Place; Chloe H-Humorous 5th Place
All 5 forensic performers are headed to the final rounds here at Bennington! Finals start at 1.30! Final results to follow.

During school board appreciation month, elementary students signed thank you cards and presented them to the school board members with candy bars showing their appreciation. We are so thankful for such a supportive school board at Lincoln USD 298!
USD 298 is excited to announce the nomination of Mrs. Shaylyn Walter for the New Horizon Teacher Award. This nomination is submitted to the Kansas State Department of Education for innovative teachers in the first years of teaching who make an impact on their students.
