KAY Citizenship Week continued!! Tuesday is Serve Your Nation Day. KAY Club is currently raising money to create Happy Kits (activity bags) for Children's Mercy patients. Their goal is $200, and if they reach their goal each building gets to pie their principal+

KAY Citizenship Week, Day 4: Family! KAY members voted on one staff member to receive a movie night basket to share with their family! Ms.Nitsch was the lucky recipient!

The high school girls basketball parents meeting scheduled for tonight has been pushed back to 7:00 pm at the grade school gym.

Several USD 298 school board members attended the KASB annual convention this weekend in Wichita. They spent time learning about school trends, laws, budgets, policies and growing ideas in today's education. Thank you for continuing to volunteer your time and improve your knowledge to make 298 the best school for our staff and students.

LJSHS will be presenting - Altar Egos: The Dos and Don'ts of an American Wedding Saturday November 16th at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday November 17th at 3:00 p.m. Admission- Adults-$5, Students (including college)-$3, 5 and under are free

ELA II students demonstrated their understanding of the trial scene in "To Kill a Mockingbird" by performing the script, exploring character motivations, and analyzing the impact of social context on justice. In addition, they learned about the layout and procedures of a courtroom.








Mrs. White's ELA IV class enjoyed a visit to the Lincoln Carnegie Library to conduct research for their essays. In addition, some students checked out books, applied for a library card, and even enjoyed coloring.
