The Scholastic Book Fair is a great time to expand your child's home library with books they love! Come to the LES Library during P/T conferences to check it out.


The Jr. High students have been working really hard on their STEM Expo projects. Come check out all the projects Monday March 6th at 6:30PM in the high School commons. Rocket launch will be at 6:35PM and the Balloon Car tournament will began at 7PM.





The senior physics class competed at the regional KidWind Challenge on Tuesday. They built wind turbines, presented to judges, took a knowledge quiz and instant challenge. The two teams placed third and fourth in our regional! Their turbines produced 20 joules of energy in 1 min.



Dr. Randy Watson, Commissioner of Education and Cathy Hopkins, District 5 State Board of Education made a visit to the L Tech Center today to visit with students and staff on the advances USD 298 has made in opening a technical education center to provide training and certifications for high school students in the area.







Fun fact Friday, Emalie's favorite sports teams are the Kansas Jayhawks and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, March 9th from 4:00-8:00pm and Friday, March 10th from 8:00am-12:00pm.
LES PreK-3rd grade will use Signup Genius - those links went home with students on Monday.
LES 4th/5th grades will be come and go in the LES gym.
LJSHS 6th-12th grades will do student led conferences with their Leopard Team teachers. Those forms for signups will go home with your student this week.

7th grade has been working with percentages and learning how to calculate tax, tip, discounts and markups. Today they did some fun online shopping and put their skills to use!




The Scholastic Book Fair is right around the corner! Come to the LES Library during P/T Conferences on March 9th from 4-8 and March 10th from 8-12. Hope to see you there!


This is a reminder that school will be dismissed at 1:00 on Friday, March 3rd, so teachers can prepare for parent teacher conferences. Busses will run at 1:00.

Congrats to the Junior Varsity and Varsity Junior High Scholars Bowl teams for both tying for 1st (but bringing home 2nd) in their meet tonight at Wilson!!

The high school substate brackets have been released. Lincoln girls will play on Thursday, February 23rd at 7:00pm in White City against Rural Vista. Lincoln boys will play on Friday, February 24th at 7:00 pm at Sylvan Grove.
