I Survived author, Lauren Tarshis appeared at LES from New York via Zoom today. She had a great message that she delivered to our 3rd through 8th graders. She also answered many questions from our students.

The Mad Scientist made an appearance again for the USD 298 children handing out candy downtown for the Business Boo!




Reminder school is dismissed today at 2:30. JH basketball will practice immediately after school and dismiss at 4:30.

The classroom winners of the LES Pumpkin Coloring Contest are Kindergarten - C. Schneider, 1st Grade - K. Schneider, 5th Grade - S. McReynolds-Baetz, 4th Grade - B. Westerman, 2nd Grade - L. Koster, and 3rd Grade - S. Krueger (not pictured). The overall school winner is 4th Grader C. Koster. The classroom winners each won a small pumpkin and the overall winner won a large pumpkin, all graciously donated by Darlene Lyne. Congratulations to all the winners!!!



LES Prek through 2nd grade were excited to have a live virtual performance with Eric Litwin, the original author of four Pete the Cat books, Groovy Joe and the Nut Family. Every student received an autographed copy of Groovy Joe, Ice Cream and Dinosaurs.

LHS Volleyball falls in a tough fought match to Washington County. Very proud of how these ladies played all season!! Proud to be a Leopard.

Lady Leopards volleyball win in their first round at sub state over Blue Valley Randolph 27-25, 25-14. Go Leopards!!

Lincoln HS football will play Thursday, October 27th at 6:00pm at Rawlins County High School in Atwood. This will begin district play.

Good luck to our cross county runners today at Washington County!!! Run fast!!!
