Thank-you to the volunteers who helped at the elementary school by spreading mulch, pulling weeds, and cleaning up!! Your help is appreciated! It’s a great day to be a Leopard

We are looking for volunteers that would potentially come help spread the new mulch at LES Thursday morning at 7. It could count towards community service hours. Sorry for the late notice trying to get it done before the first day of school and avoid the heat. Please bring a rake or pitch forks if you have one. Let’s beautify LES!

Jr. High volleyball practice will start August 15th at 3:45-5:30 at LES. There will be a short parent meeting after practice.

Attention JH: The JH purchased supply packets will be available in the LJSHS office the first day of school.

A big THANK YOU to PTCO, the Junior Sunflower 4H club, and several other volunteers for helping us clean up the playground tonight in preparation for the new school year!

Enrollment for USD 298 PK-12th grades will be held in the LJSHS Commons on Wednesday and Thursday. Due to parking lot repairs you will need to park in the North parking lot and use that entrance by the safe room and gym. We look forward to seeing you!

Lincoln Leopard Apparel: Proceeds go to the athletic department.

*One 1 1/2" binder

Here are the supply lists for the 2022-2023 school year.

It’s time to think about enrollment. We are asking parents to stop by the Board Office at 133 East Lincoln Avenue next week starting Monday, July 11 through Thursday, July 14, 9 am – 3 pm to pick up their student’s enrollment packet. Any packets not picked up after that date will be mailed out to parents/guardians. This year our district will have an online application for free and reduced price school meals: schoolmealsapp.ksde.org/Home/welcome/D0298 (this link has been updated). If you complete the online application, you do not need to complete the paper application in the enrollment packet. Enrollment is scheduled for Wednesday, July 27 from 12 – 8 pm and Thursday, July 28 from 8 am – 1 pm. Please call the BOE at (785) 524-4436 if you have any questions.

No meals will be served through the USD 298 Summer Meal Program on Monday, July 4th. Have a safe holiday!

A recent article in the Lincoln Sentinel spoke of our district having online enrollment. Our district is not offering online enrollment but for the 2022-2023 school year we are opting to use the online Application for Free or Reduced Price School Meals available at: https://schoolmealsapp.ksde.org/Home/welcome/D0298. That online application is available for families of USD 298 starting July 1, 2022. Households may choose to complete the paper application instead.
Other school enrollment information, when packets are available, dates and times will be posted soon. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school board office at (785) 524-4436.
