Don't forget to attend the open house at Lincoln Elementary School on Tuesday, August 22nd. There will be two sessions to meet your teacher from 6:00-6:30 or 6:30-7:00. This is for 1st through 5th grades.

Due to the extreme heat forecast of 100 + degrees next week and the safety of our student/athletes cross country and football practices will be in the morning all week. JH/HS cross country Monday through Friday, August 21st - 25th meet at the high school. 6:15am JH/HS football Monday through Thursday, August 21st - 24th meet at the field house. 6:00am - 7:30am Film and conditioning in the weight room after school 3:45-4:30pm No JH practice Friday, August 25th. HS Jamboree in Moundridge. JH/HS volleyball after school in the gym with normal practice times and schedules.

Tescott has had to make a change for the JH/HS Cross Country Invitational Meet from Thursday, August 31, to Wednesday, August 30. Meet still begins at 3 pm. Please make that change on your activity calendar.

Fall sports practice starts tomorrow: Cross Country JH/HS - 4 p.m. meet at the high school. HS volleyball - 3:45 p.m. at the high school. Parent meeting Tuesday at 6:00 pm at the high school. JH volleyball - 4:00-5:30 p.m. at LES gym. Parent meeting after practice Monday. JH and HS football - 5:45 - 8:00 p.m. at the football field. Reminder if you do not have a physical form or concussion form you cannot practice until it is complete and on file in the high school office.

Maryn Schmidt was hired by USD 298 as a 2nd year Summer Intern made possible with a grant through Nex-Generation Round Up for Youth. She was a great help to the Board Office staff in getting paperwork ready for this school year. Thank you Maryn and Nex-Gen!

Parents, if you haven't stopped by your child's school to get them enrolled, there is still time! Lincoln Elementary hours are Monday - 12 - 3pm. and then 9 - 3 on Tuesday through Friday. Lincoln Jr Sr High hours are 9-3 daily. We are excited for the 2023-2024 year to get started!

Do you want a part of Lincoln High School history? We are taking sealed bids for the old gym mats. Two sets are available. One bid for each set. The highest two bids will win one set each. Each set will come with one large mat and 4 small blue mats. Bids are due in a sealed envelope to Lincoln High School by July 25th at 4:00pm to be considered.
