Jerry Pallotta was our virtual guest author at LES. He has written 100 books which include the popular Who Would Win series. Students learned about where he gets his ideas and the process he goes through to write the books. All students will receive an autographed book.

Continued……. 6th Graders finished their sarcophagi. Super proud of the work they put in! They learned about the mummification process, the significance of what is incorporated on the sarcophagus and many other fun facts about the Egyptian civilization.

LES Parents/Guardians: As cold temperatures are upon us, please remember that your student needs to dress for the weather and weather conditions everyday. Please no summer outfits or shorts on days under 60 degrees. Students go outside daily for recess. Coats, jackets, hats and gloves are all important items for your student on these days. If you need assistance with cold weather clothing please call the LES office. All calls remain confidential. Thank you for your cooperation.

LES Parents/Guardians: Thank you for your continued support in guiding your child's education. LES had a parent participation rate at Fall Parent Teacher Conferences of 98%. If you had to miss your conference time and would like to meet with your child's teacher, please call the office to make an appointment. LES also had the honor to have two USD 298 Board of Education members take time from their busy schedules to greet parents and guide them to classrooms.
