The 7th & 8th Grade Football Camp scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, July 29, is cancelled due to the forecast.

USD 298 Parents and Guardians: There was a typo on the LES enrollment letter that requires clarification. At USD 298 enrollment, masks are highly encouraged and will be available for patrons, however they are not required per current mandate at this time. USD 298 prioritizes parent, staff and student safety and will limit the numbers of individuals in the gym during enrollment, and will temperature screen all patrons to gain entry into the building. Thank you for your continued cooperation and patience at this time.

Enrollment for grades PK-12th grade is scheduled for August 4 and 5, 2020, at LES. Please check out the attached flyer for more information.

Upcoming JH Football Camp for 7th & 8th Grade

Households can still respond now by completing and mailing back the paper questionnaire they received, by responding online at my2020census.gov, or by phone at 844-330-2020. Those who respond will not need to be visited to obtain their census response.

The needle continues to move upward for Kansas' self-response to the 2020 Census. Our state moved up another tick and now stands at 65.8% for self-response. That's 13th best in the nation. (Minnesota leads the way at 71.5%.) The national self-response average is 62.0%. We will continue to aggressively encourage Kansas households to complete the census questionnaire online, by phone of mail through October 31. This push will continue and even while census takers are dispatched in mid August to personally visit non-responding households. Parents and Guardians Only: Please fill out the survey (the survey link is below) to help USD 298 gather information concerning your level of comfort in sending your child/children to Lincoln Elementary or Lincoln Junior Senior High in the fall. Please complete a separate survey for each school aged child, so we may be aware if you have different comfort levels with different buildings. One more reminder concerning graduation. If you are feeling ill, we ask that you refrain from attending the ceremony at Mettner Field. We would love to have you join us on Facebook Live!

Tomorrow, Saturday, July 11, 2020 is graduation day! If you attend the ceremony, do not forget your lawn chairs to sit on the football field. Please be respectful of the reserved areas and maintain 6 foot of social distancing. Due to the first COVID case identified in Lincoln County, we would appreciate any person who attends graduation to maintain social distance and wear a mask to minimize exposure. Thank you for supporting our seniors!

Graduation will be shown live at 9:00 am on Facebook Live ("like" USD298 Lincoln) and then later posted on USD 298 Lincoln's youtube channel. Congratulations Class of 2020!

Please be advised when you place your own seating (lawn chairs or blankets) on the football field at the ceremony that you maintain 6 feet of distance between each family group and be considerate of the seniors who have saved areas for their family. Thank you for your compliance as we celebrate our seniors!

Graduation is almost here! Please come help us celebrate the Class of 2020 on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Mettner Field at 9:00 a.m. Please be aware seating at the ceremony will be on the football field not in the stadium. We request you bring your own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on the football field to watch the ceremony. Masks are recommended if not able to social distance. Thank you to our amazing Summer Lunch team. They have been distributing free lunches and breakfasts since the end of March. Today was the last day for the program. We are very excited to see all the kids again this school year and thankful for the kind gifts we received today. It's a great day to be a Leopard! #RoaringLeopards

LES parents/guardians: Lincoln Elementary School Site Council will not be selling School Supply Packs for the 2020-2021 school year. This decision is only for the 2020-2021 school year, and it is anticipated School Supply Packs will be available for families in following years.
