Happy Homecoming Week! Coach Crenshaw and the High School Volleyball Team game out to greet students arriving to school at LES this morning.

To USD 298 parents:
We have identified 2 positive COVID cases in the Jr. High since last Friday. Per recommendations from LCHD, all Jr High students, 6th - 8th, will be required to wear masks at school. All Jr High activities will be suspended until Oct 12th. This includes practice and competitions. These required temporary protocols will help us to keep our school open and our students, staff and school safe. For Junior High students, 6th-8th, to attend classes October 4th - October 8th they will be required to wear a mask.
Should this situation change, we will do our best to keep everyone informed. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate the constantly changing situations.

Alg 2 students conducted an experiment to model a bridge. The students collected data and used their knowledge of variation models to write an equation that represents how the length between support beams and the thickness of the bridge affect the weight that the bridge can hold.

Today let’s thank Dennis, Jacque, Jeremy, Joe, Lynda, and Vicky, our maintenance and custodian crew. We appreciate the great job you do! Thanks for all you do for our staff and students!

Check out how these students showed great character!

Because of food supply issues, the following menu changes have been made: Wednesday, September 29 - the entree will now be a chicken burrito, not taco salad. Friday's entree will be turkey sandwich & chips, no wedges. We will try to keep you informed of menu entree changes.
