LES will be holding their Spring Music Concert on Monday, April 4. The concert is open to all parents and community members. Once again there will be a split concert format K-2 students will perform from 6:00-6:30, please have K-2 students arrive by 5:45. There will be a brief 15 minute intermission from 6:30-6:45, K-2 students and parents may leave after their performance if they would like. 3rd-5th grade will perform from 6:45-7:15, they do not need to arrive until 6:35 unless attending the earlier performance. No special attire is required for the program. It will be recorded and uploaded to the USD 298 Facebook page the next morning. We are exciting to welcome parents and patrons into the building for this joyous event.

What a GOLD day! Both boys and girls powerlifting took home 1st place at the NPL Powerlifting Meet. Boys finished with 344 points and the girls finished with 277. Many league records and personal records were broken today! Great job ladies and gentlemen!



The Anatomy and Physiology class ventured out in the weather, up to Concordia to visit Cloud County’s Cadaver Lab. This was a great experience for these students! They were both given the opportunity to hold a heart in their hands.

Due to inclement weather, LES and LJSHS Parent Teacher Conferences scheduled for tomorrow evening have been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 22 from 4-8 p.m. The LES Bookfair will also be open that night from 4-8 p.m. Thank you for your cooperation.
After conversation with the National Weather Service and the forecast for 6 to 8 inches of snow, USD 298 Lincoln is calling off school for Thursday, March 10. Stay safe and have a great spring break. We’ll see the students back to school on Monday, March 21st.
Iditaread Challenge

LES parents, patrons and community members-the first night of the Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success. The Bookfair is open from 2:30-5:30 today for all shoppers. Books for all ages, toys, games and posters are available. If you would like to support a classroom, all classroom teachers have wish list items to purchase. Gift certificates are also available. Cheyenne Bottoms came to the 6th grade classroom today and the student had complete the task of making a wind tower that make 1 volt of energy.




The Cheyenne Bottoms came to the 8th grade classroom today to talk about Ecosystem. They had a surprise visit that came along.
