LJSHS yearbook editors, Mya and Evelyn, and advisor, Mrs. White, are virtually attending the JEA/NSPA National Conference. They are learning new journalism skills that will help them lead the yearbook staff, edit and create a great publication, and tell a great story through publication.




The JH basketball game vs Tescott scheduled for Thursday, November 19, has been cancelled. When this game is rescheduled, it will be posted here.

USDA has extended free meals for our students through the end of the school year. If you want a refund, please contact your child's school office by Wednesday, November 18, so that a refund can be made. Call the school office if you have any questions.

Since the weather is supposed to be nice this week. LES PE students are going to run the mile on Wednesday, November 18th. We will run on the west playground like we did in September. If parents would like to come watch you are welcome. Please stay outside the fence and social distance like you did before. The kids love to have a cheering section!

The JH basketball games at Rock Hills on Monday, November 23, have been cancelled. When a make up game is scheduled it will be announced.

Lincoln will host JH basketball on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, against Lakeside. Games start at 4 pm. Each player is allowed 2 tickets for fans. More information can be found on our website under Documents-Athletics. Specific game times are here: https://5il.co/mxsn

Lincoln Elementary School would like to extend our deepest gratitude to those individuals who currently serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families. LES students were privileged to have Ms. Becky Holliday, LES Vocal and Band Teacher, speak to them today on her experiences in the military. When she is not teaching for USD 298, Ms. Holliday is Staff Sergeant Holliday in the Army Reserve Band.


Reminder: there is no school tomorrow for all LES and LJSHS students due to Veterans Day. USD 298 staff will have inservice meetings.

USD 298 continues to benefit from the Dane G. Hansen Northwest Kansas Learns Program. This program provides free educational opportunities for schools in Hansen counties. Instructors from the Kansas Cosmosphere visited Mrs. Obermueller's Fourth Grade class this week and taught lessons on Robotics. The students were able to program their robots in pairs using computer coding to complete a maze. Owen D., Keynan F., Jahdiel M., and Alexis H. are all pictured with their robots. Great Job Fourth Graders!
